flower boy. look at yourself
look at who you’ve become.
it’s not easy. navigating the waters
of who you are, who you are told you are, and who you want to be.
daisies and sunflowers bloom from your gut intuition.
you knew who you were
i am so sorry for the way your body was treated. i’m sorry for the way your flowers wilted at the hands of careless shepherds.
i’m sorry for the way your record was scratched and stopped because a new song took over.
i’m sorry for the way your artwork was taken off the wall, and put into the forgotten archives
i don’t have the experience you have. i don’t know what it’s like to be lost in a body that’s supposed to be familiar , but yet is foreign to your conscious. i don’t know what it’s like at all.
you let your flowers bloom despite it all.
i’m sorry for the hands of careless shepherds
