The Crossings is Bethel University’s on-campus literary magazine. We publish creative works by Bethel students, faculty, and staff.
At The Crossings, our goal is to explore the way that human experience intersects with the divine through the mediums of literary and visual art. We welcome submissions in the categories of fiction, non-fiction, drama, poetry, and book reviews.
Because The Crossings is passionate about fostering a creative community on and around campus, we have also introduced several projects that we feel will encourage young creators to become involved with our publication. Among these projects are our:
-annual High School Writing Contest
-weekly Writing Prompt Contest
-“Ask an Editor” blog
-biannual print magazine (found in various locations around campus)
